recitation contest on Jan. 24, and senior Ariana Niehaus came away with

Our eleventh grade students will be taking the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) for reading and math on
March 13th, 14th and 15th, the writing assessments on
April 17th and April 18th, and the science assessments on
April 24th, 25th and 26th, weather permitting. These state assessments are very important for students, parents and the school district as it provides critical information about student growth and curriculum implementation. As per school board policy #217, results of local and state assessments can be used for graduation requirements.

Avon Grove High School students and parents are invited to attend the First Annual AGHS Spring College Fair on
Tuesday, February 28th from 6:00-8:00pm in the high school gymnasium. Admissions representatives from over 40 post-secondary institutions will be available to meet with attendees and answer questions. 11 th grade students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend. In the event of bad weather, the fair will be rescheduled on March 1 st from 6:00-8:00pm.
