Program Philosophy
The Avon Grove School District is committed to providing a learning environment that encourages students to take risks and develop their own mathematics concepts through high quality work. High quality work means high standards, high interest, high challenge and high satisfaction. The system is responsible for providing students the support needed to succeed in the world in which they live as mathematically literate thinkers and communicators. Curriculum Documents
The Avon Grove School District’s Mathematics curriculum is developed by classroom teachers of mathematics , grades K-12, and administrators. The curriculum is grounded upon the Pennyslvania Standards for Mathematics. The Pennsylvania Mathematics Standards include:

The Planned Course Outlines are also broken down into specific plans by grade level at the elementary level and by courses at the secondary level. These more detailed documents include the specific knowledge and skills for each grade level.
